Here is a list of
Top Ten Movies of 2013 so far. This year we've seen a few
Best Films which are great. The Great Gatsby and Life of Pi prove that drama can be served by good use of the technique as well. Both Films are rated very best.Pi made the ocean a genuine character through its depth and camera placement while Gatsby used 3D to highlight the geography so important to Fitzgerald's tale.2013 has been a good year for adaptations, as a number of "unfilmable" books have turned out to produce spectacular cinema. In addition to Pi and Gatsby, Silver Linings Playbook gave us an emotional roller-coaster, World War Z proved a fun not-proper-zombie romp, Warm Bodies further challenged zombie culture and Rust and Bone merged two short stories into a gut-punch of a movie.Check the
Top Ten Movies This week below.
The Great Gatsby
This movie is based on a novel. This film can never be under-rated as it is based on nice scenes and story. It is a 1925 novel written by American author F. Scott Fitzgerald that follows a cast of characters living in the fictional town of West Egg.
The Hunt
It is also the one of very best Films of 2013.Based on a very unscientific Twitter poll of people's favourite film of the year to date, enough people nominated Thomas Vinterberg's Danish story of a kindergarten teacher wrongly accused of interfering with a young girl that I, well, hunted it down so to speak.Entirely worth it.
Life Of PI
Life of PI is a record breaking movie of the week.Ang Lee's Oscar-winner released in 2013 in Australia and it should have been The Castaway with religious sermons, instead we loved every moment aboard the boat with Pi Patel and Richard Parker. For those who disliked Tobey Maguire as the narrator in Gatsby, he almost played a very similar role here but was replaced when his star power over took the main tale.Profound, beautiful and a film that has stimulated hours of debate.
Zero Dark Thirty
It's tough when you know how a film is going to end sometimes, but it was the first minute, nay 30 seconds of Zero Dark Thirty, featuring audio from emergency calls made on September 11, 2001 in the dark that told us this was an entirely fresh take on a "known" story. For contrast, the film Seal Team Six visited the same events and felt empty and dry.Kathryn Bigelow's film was exciting, extraordinary and two and a half hours of genuine suspense.
Silver Linings Playbook
An excellent Movie to watch,You can count the genuinely excellent romantic comedies of the 21st century on one hand and possibly have fingers left over. This ranks alongside (500) Days of Summer as the only two automatic selections.
Man Of Steel
Man of Steel is a 2013 American superhero film directed by Zack Snyder, produced by Christopher Nolan, and scripted by David S. Goyer.Iron Man 3 and Star Trek Into Darkness were both great, yet of the major franchises, this reboot gambled more and paid rich dividends. From Russell Crowe's excellent performance to Henry Cavill's career-defining embodiment of Superman, there is no doubt the DC Universe is finally back on track, and Zack Snyder has won over many of the fans he lost on The Watchmen and Sucker Punch.
The Place Beyond the Pines
It is a nice Movie based on a gentle story. The Place Beyond the Pines is a 2013 American crime drama film directed by Derek Cianfrance, written by Cianfrance, Ben Coccio, and Darius Marder. It stars Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper, Eva Mendes, and Ray Liotta.
Trance Movie
A great movie to watch,Trance is a 2013 British psychological thriller film directed by Danny Boyle and written by Joe Ahearne and John Hodge. The film stars James McAvoy, Rosario Dawson, and Vincent Cassel.
We Steal Secrets:The Wikileaks Story
What can be said to praise this nice Film of 2013.if you've lived in the 21st century and caught a single news item about Wikileaks or Julian Assange, you owe it to yourself to see this documentary.Alex Gibney traces the rise and spiral of the man and his web-based phenomenon, with amazing access to insiders and a fantastic filmic approach that means this neither lectures nor preaches.
The Croods
The last to appear in our Top Ten Movies of 2013 is "The Croods."Where did this come from? From the trailers and the description, Emma Stone and Nicolas Cage seemed to be earning a little extra pocket money with a caveman cartoon for the little 'uns.Instead, it's a story that shifts protagonist repeatedly, took the end-of-days drama of Ice Age and advanced it to unimagined animated territory as Grug and his Neanderthal family went on a spectacular adventure surrounded by wonderfully imaginative new animals, with brilliantly sharp dialogue and an inspiring emotional range.
